Textile structures in collaboration with Floating University e.V.

As part of the 2021 Space Experiments, the Floating University Berlin received four new textile roofs, two of them inflatable, which, in line with the local spirit, span freely suspended on slender poles. During a collaborative workshop we produced the membranes, consisting of a sliding cushion, an inflated auditorium with an oculus, a reflective tent, and a water funnel. As part of the project team, I conducted the form finding and pattern design as well as detailing of the textile structures. I also supervised the manufacturing of the textiles.
